Welcome

Hello and welcome to my website.  Here I can keep you up to date on all that is happening in my world and also give you the opportunity to give your feedback and leave messages, to which I promise I will endeavour to reply.  I have to admit I am not what you call ‘computer literate’ and just hate when someone says “it’s so easy, even a two year old can do it” … … but where can I find a two year old when I need one?  My attempts at Facebook and Twitter many of you will agree, leave a lot to be desired.  I’m hoping this webpage will enable me to keep everything in one place, be easy and fun to use and one you will want to visit regularly.

I have spent little time on my website since the start of the pandemic.
That’s because there was nothing happening in the entertainment world and whilst I was tempted to write and tell you all what I was doing daily, quite frankly it would have been pretty boring.  “Got up this morning, had breakfast, went for a walk, talked to nobody, did a bit of housework, gardening, cooked dinner, watched TV and went to bed”.  The next day was a repeat performance of the day before and so it continued with nothing changing apart from the weather.. I really did try to make the best of the lockdowns but after three months I admit, it did become a struggle at times.

Now at long last there is a glimmer of hope as life is slowly returning to somewhat normal.  I have my sparkle back and I am raring to go!!! A lot of exciting things are happening right now.  We have just finished recording the Christmas and New Years Specials and what a joy it was to see everyone again.  We are also doing a live broadcast of Mrs. Brown’s Boys (Halloween Special) that will air on BBC1 and RTE at 9.30pm Friday 29th October.  My one woman show ‘Live Love Laugh’ begins touring again in Ireland starting 11th November.  To say I’m excited to be back working again is an understatement..  Who knows how long this new normal will last, so I’m striking while the iron is hot and making up for lost time.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.  Check out the events calendar for venue and dates.
